Benjamin Sabatier, a French artist born in 1977, chose to place his work as “Do it yourself”, a means according to him of “rematerializing” the real. In his social approach to art, he emphasized the importance of “matter” and the involvement of the viewer. Thus, in the artwork «Peinture en kit», he invites the viewer to take over the work of art and reconstruct it himself. Inside a box, there are colourful bedbugs and an installation manual.
