Wooden Skateboard

This handcrafted skateboard by La Planche à Roulettes is produced in a very limited edition, and each board is unique made of wood carefully selected at a sawmill in the French countryside. This skateboard honors the history of the Bains Douches through a design echoing the most subversive skateboard period; the 1980s. This model is called ‘bol’ in reference to the practice of skateboarding in empty swimming pools in Venice Beach during the major California droughts, when the z-boys in search of thrills appropriated these new spots they came to call ‘bowls’.
